As a charming local cafe, it embraces a cozy, airy atmosphere complemented by warm, friendly staff who are eager to make your dining experience as comfortable as possible—whether you choose to sit indoors where the temperature is perfectly balanced or outside on the spacious deck with breathtaking views of the woods.

The menu at Wendover Woods Cafe is thoughtfully curated to cater to both hearty appetites and lighter cravings. Breakfast lovers will find genuine comfort in the Breakfast BAP, praised by visitors like Annie, who marveled at how quickly hers was served and how deliciously satisfying it was—featuring undercooked bacon nestled within fresh bread that just melts in your mouth. If you’re seeking something indulgent during your lunch break, their homemade Soup of the Day warms the soul (£5.95), while the Locally Sourced Ham, Free-Range Egg, and Chips (£12.50) or the crisp Breaded Wholetail Scampi and Chips (£12.50) provide classic British flavors elevated by high-quality, fresh ingredients.

For lighter bites, the Breaded Brie Bites and Halloumi Fries offer rich, gooey textures and irresistible flavors—ideal for sharing or a midday treat alongside a glass of Sheppys Cider. Nachos with Beef also deliver a satisfying, savory crunch for those craving something with a bit of zest. Sausage & Mash is another popular choice, cherished for its home-style heartiness.

Despite occasional busy spells, visitors like Rich M have found this spot to be “a welcome break” amidst the natural beauty of the Chilterns, noting the abundant food and drink options and appreciating the outdoor seating when the weather allows. The only slight caveat has been the use of machine-made coffee, yet the hot chocolate stands out as a rewarding alternative for those seeking warmth and comfort in a cup.

The staff were very friendly and apologetic about the wait, which is cool. Plus, there were a lot of staff clearing away. We thought the prices were ok. The sausage bap was pretty good. Just felt very chaotic in the cafe, so we sat outside.

A welcome break in the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Sometimes too busy. Lovely deck when weather permits. Lots of food and drink choices. Only machine coffee sadly but hot chocolate a good alternative.

Honestly, I really liked this cafe. It was really nice as soon as you walked in (and nice temperature too). I ordered a breakfast bap. It came SO SO quickly, taking about 5 mins to make. It was a little bit pricey, but worth it! The bap was AMAZING! I loved it so much and I would definitely come here again. The staff were nice which was good and the facilities were nice - it was very airy with lots of glass windows to look out over the trees. The reviews aren’t great for this but honestly, it’s very nice!

Breakfast in the mornings lunches start around 11.45. Good choice of food. Outside seating as good views of the woods. It was very dog friendly. So all happy will visit again soon.

The food was incredibly delicious, I had the beef steak burger and it was amazing. The service was excellent, we were served our food so fast. The atmosphere was beautiful and the view made the experience even better.
